Privacy policy

This policy explains what ilove.deals collects and why. We keep it to the minimum the site needs to work.
What we collect
- Email address, only if you subscribe to the weekly digest. We use it to send that digest and nothing else.
- Votes on whether a code worked, tied to an anonymous identifier so each person counts once. We do not store your IP address.
- Clicks on offers. Each click gets a random reference that we pass to the store's affiliate network, so a purchase they report back can be matched to the deal that led to it. If you're signed in, we link that click to your account so we can credit your rewards; otherwise it isn't linked to you.
- If you create an account: your email address, the deals you share, your comments, your watchlist, your bonus tracker, and your rewards balance and history, used to run those features. Purchases reported by affiliate networks contain the order amount and our commission, never your name, address or payment details.
- Standard server logs (for security and debugging), kept for a short time.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If that changes, we will ask for your consent first and add a clear opt-out.
Affiliate links
When you click an affiliate link, the company or its affiliate network may set its own cookies and receive information such as which link referred you. Their privacy policies apply on their sites.
Subscribing is double opt-in. Every email has an unsubscribe link (open it and confirm with one button; Gmail and Yahoo's own unsubscribe button works too), and we remove you immediately.
Your rights (including California residents)
You can ask us to access or delete the personal data we hold, or to stop sending email, by writing to hello@ilove.deals. We respond within 45 days.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
